Longterm foreigner 2 I ordered both versions of the Sears Singapore (in Japan called "screw") chain in pink gold. One is 18KPG, the other one 10KPG. The 18k version is supposed to be a little bit thicker (1mm) than the 10K version (0.91mm), but in reality the 18K version is much thinner and looks far too fragile. The 18K version is also noticeably pinker, while the 10K version is in line with my other 10K rose gold jewelry. This is odd, since a higher gold percentage should mean than the 18K version should be less pink due to more yellow gold. Which means in turn that the manufacturer used more copper than usual for the 18K version.Given that 10K and 18K of the same length are priced right now both at the same price, something seems wrong here.Overall, I'm sending both back since the 10K version seems also too thin and fragile.
